Description
The coffee tastes deliciously like real coffee despite being decaffeinated! According to the manufacturer’s promise, 99.9% of caffeine is removed with this method, while in ordinary chemical methods, a few percent of caffeine remains in coffee. The aroma of this coffee is fruity, citrusy, fresh, full-bodied and soft.

The unique process of the Swiss Water method allows caffeine to be removed from coffee without affecting other flavours in the coffee. The process is based on first soaking one batch of raw beans in water close to boiling, dissolving both caffeine and flavourings in the water. Caffeine is removed from this water by means of an activated charcoal filter that specializes in removing large caffeine molecules, leaving smaller aroma molecules in place. But unlike other caffeine removal methods, here the original raw beans are no longer used at all, but this decaffeinated water saturated with coffee aromas is used to soak the next and several subsequent batches of raw beans in hot water, allowing the caffeine to dissolve from the raw beans, but no longer the other flavorings, since the water is already full of flavorings. The same water, from which caffeine has been removed with an activated carbon filter, is used to remove caffeine from several batches of raw beans, making the method the most environmentally friendly of all caffeine removal methods. It is almost exclusively used to remove caffeine from organic coffees.
