Oolong tea is a tea type somewhere in between green tea and black tea. The oxidation process present in producing black tea is started, but in case of oolong tea it is stopped somewhere between 20% to 85%. Thus some oolong teas are much closer to green tea in appearance and taste and some resemble more like black tea although milder and sweeter.
